In the next ten years...no one will be able to afford a house...only the really rich. People will be living in tent cities and trailer parks like in America and there will be more homeless people than ever living in card board box's. Petrol and food will be astronomical and power company's will put there prices up so much that no one will have power. Most of the country will be foreign owned because no Kiwi's will be able to own any property and the government will keep making stupid laws....North Korea will attack Europe nuking them. Australia will be run by a woman...Bush will be assasinated and Hillary will be president there...Top of the Norrth Island will be hit by a tsunami and be wriped out and and Iraq will be totally destroyed by an Earthquake.....

We're all going down! We've puked on this planet too many times, it's too late for recovery, even the aliens are leaving Earth. Most countries have learned to respect their land and resources over the years they have shared this planet and have been friendly with nature. Not America, we have exploited everything our country has , and used up or sold off most of our valuable resources, and we are on a quest to expand our wasteful greed, worldwide! Before the white man came to America, Indians lived all over this country and their lifestyle was such that it would never harm the land and atmosphere. Without our interference Indians could have made this planet go on indefinitely. Well if not for the underground bases, cities,tube shuttles, alien intervention and human experimentation agreements. If not for the Greada Treaty back in 1952 with Ike & the exterrestials. Anyway were toast; Bush and his greedy bums know it , that's why they are acting the way they do. We trashed the planet in 400 years, imagine that! In 10 years, I can see us either buried and dead underground, or living underground, hopefully the latter.

War will escalate in the Middle East over the next 3-5 years. People are really itching for a fight over there, and they need to get it out of their systems to clean out some of the bad blood. After that, there might finally be a chance for peace.

Fidel Castro will die and Cuba's communist government will decay quickly. The country will see the beginnings of money and tourism, due to it's tropical climate, but it will still need a good 15-20 years to fully get on it's feet and have the infrastructure needed to sustain it's people.

China will be the number 2 major player economically, but their government's isolationist ways will still hinder them on the world stage. This will create some tensions between the other world powers like the U.S., Japan, and U.K., but won't lead to any armed conflict. The Chinese need the rest of the world as much as we need it to continue economic growth.

The beginnings of the energy revolution. Things like hydrogen fuel cells, and perhaps a revisit to safer cleaner nuclear energy will plant their seeds in the next decade. They won't come to full fruition for 15-25 more years, however. Oil, coal, and natural gas are dinosaurs and are not cost effective or abundant enough for today's businesses, especially the shipping industry.

The planet will continue to warm, but at a manageable rate. We will begin to find out that the increases in global temperature are more closely linked to the natural cycles of the Sun, and less linked to greenhouse gasses.
