A girl had her feet sliced off while riding a roller coaster. How could she possibly be reimbused by the insurance or theme park companies for the loss of her feet?

Actually, it was on the Superman Tower of Power. Its a free fall thrill ride.

All amusement parks have insurance to cover these types of accidents.

The girl will not be responsible for anything, (hospital bills, insurance payouts from the family insurance, etc). The amusement park will pay for everything and they will compensate for the losses she will sustain from possible future wages, as well.

Its a horrible thing.

Oh my gosh I know, its terrible. I feel so badly for her. And its sad, we put all of our trust into these rides when we get on them. We strap ourselves into these massive machines that whip us around because we feel we will be protected. Its horrible. This girl goes there to have fun and ends up in a situation where she probably won't be walking for quite some time. I'm sure six flags has insurance that will cover everything for the girl, and the park won't be hurt too badly financially wise but this is going to make me think twice about hopping onto a ride. This girl is never going to get back the ime she loses being cooped up in a hospital, it might take her a very long time to get over the trauma that has been caused. I'm shocked that such a thing has happened and I do not understand how. I hope more news in reported on the incident because I am extremely interested. I have no idea how the company plans to make up for all the trouble this one ride has caused this girl and her family. The only thing I'm confused about though is why she was the only one injured when the cable dropped... hmm? I want to look into this lol...

properly i've got been to the two Six Flags over Ga and 6 Flags over Tx. The trip they confirmed on television is merely approximately precisely the comparable trip because of the fact the only I rode in Texas. truthfully what's does is it lifts you up and drops you some cases. It does some smaller drops first, then a pair bigger drops on the tip, so its a a lot longer trip than Acrophobia. yet actually, Acrophobia is a waste of time besides. You wait in line for hours for an 8 2nd trip...

Here is another interesting fact about Kentucky Kingdom. That's not the only ride that had issues. There are a number of rides that have been having multiple mechanical problems and the newest water ride has been broken on and off since it started.

I think Six Flags needs to do a little investigating. My wife didn't renew our season passes for Kentucky Kingdom, this year due to the issues.

Did you hear about the woman who fell out of superman at the Six flags in ca? You really got to think about these kinds of incidents before you go to theme parks.

This is the first I have heard of this but Last time something has happened at six flags cali.... I didn't go for a while and everytime I go now since something has happened at that park, I just really say if its going to happen, its going to happen. People really should know the risks and everything that might happen. I just always think of to myself this way. I'm going to a place for thrills and fun. I'm going to a place where I might get hurt on one of these things. I wanted to come here and they didn't make me, I know my risks and I know ALL the possibilities what could happen to me.

I had surgery last year and two months later, I went to six flags. I got jerked and tossed around on the rides ( i had a VNS implant put in which helps me control my epilepsy and I have wire in the back of my neck and the machine below my collarbone). When we left I wanted pain pills and something to put on me. Put I said " I f**king hurt, but I don't give a S** cuz It was worth it.

But six flags takes care of things.... They been sued before.

Some states limit punitive awards. She may not get very much at all. Tort reform is always at the top of the political agenda. It is unlikely her feet will be re-attached either because they were torn from her legs by a cable. The newspapers never follow up on these so the public is left in the dark.

It is a horrible thing, but these public attractions do have insurance for these kind of things, freak accidents happen even in your own home. I'm sure they will see to all her needs now and for her future. She will probably have the best possible medical help, and be walking within a year or so..
