most definitely. It is one of our favorites. Wasn't Gary Cooper adorable? There are a lot of great baseball movies out there worth watching. If you like Gary Cooper movies, check out Sergent York. It is a true story about WWl veteran Alvin York. Very good movie and I highly recommend it.

Pride of the Yankees is a classic. But "The Natural" is a great movie too. Field of Dreams is a good movie, but there is more to it than just baseball. The Babe with John Goodman is also a great movie.

I'm sorry but you can give me field of dreams, you can give me league of their own, you can give me any baseball movie known to man... but none capture the essence of baseball better than The Sandlot.
