Tom is wrong; Yul is right, but for the wrong reasons.

A = 4
B = 3
C= 2
D = 1

Thus, 4 + 3 + 3 + 3 + 3 + 1 = 17
And 17 / 6 = 2.8

Raise the D to a C and you'll have 3.0.
