Passport/drivers licence photos are the worst offenders IMO. Almost every time I've had one taken my reaction has been, "well maybe I'm just ugly after all." A similiar phenomenon occurs with my voice - when I hear my phone answering message I sound like a dork.

YES!! i'll go look in the mirror, and think i look nice...then take a picture and its like the opposite of what i saw in the mirror 30seconds before! soo annoying!

Exactly!! OMG!! I hate my pictures but I think i look good in the mirror. like on picture day at school,you think you look awesome and then you get your pictures and they are horrible!

yes. people take horrible photos these days. im a photographer and i hate the way other people take pictures. i know exactly what you mean.
