I wear glasses, have myopia and ride. They actually make special glasses for helmets with straight earpieces. And of course you can wear them closer to your eyes. Contacts.
Some things I have noticed are: your field of vision is a bit restricted, a poor visor can combine with the glasses refraction in really strange ways, my ears really hurt if I don't get them on just right, and don't wear sunglasses and a tinted visor.
Glasses and a helmet can do wacky things to your depth perception sometimes.
I put my helmet on (FULL FACE!!!!!) and put my glasses on through the open visor every time. No problem.
I never have problems getting my glasses on under my helmet either. I wear a Shoei RF-108V, I use a rose tinted visor.

Yes. I can't see far, myopia, but ride almost daily. You can get sunglasses/glasses that fit over your prescription glasses. You can also get goggles or best of all, use a FULL FACE helmet. That provides the best head protection, and most wind protection while you wear your glasses.

I have thick glasses and ride. It's a pain getting my helmet on and off because I have to find somewhere for the specs but other than that and them steaming up I have no problems. As long as you can pass the sight test for your licence you should be okay.

Yes. I take the glasses off, put the helmet on, then put the glasses on within the helmet. I use a full face helmet. Works great.

Edit: I've never had any problem squeezing my glasses into my helmet, LOL. My current helmet is an Arai.

Sure, its best to have eye protection anyway. With full face helmets, make sure you try them on with your glasses to see how the fit is. Some helmets have alot of pading near the ears that pushes your glasses off.
For the open face helmets, get tight fitting prescription sunglasses to protect your eyes from the wind.

Yes, but for a full face helmet it is best to get one with a flip up front like the HJC CL-MAX or HJC SY-MAX, so you can put it on with the front flipped up, and then lower the front over your glasses.
A regular full face helmet is like impossible to put on with glasses, and very hard to squeeze the glasses in from the front once it's on.

Yes they can because they would have to pass the eye test to get their motorcycle licneses and car licenses.

They most certainly can, in fact they have to wear their glasses if they use them to pass the driving eye test.
