Mostly I do. However most people mean well, while making promises or bargains, but sometimes there are reasons for breaking them. It may be that the promise is one that is not logical or capable, or that things change and it is impossible to fulfill such an agreement.

I do mean what I say all the time, but there are exceptions. For instance, my roommate wanted his brother to stay with us in our house. I was dead set against it. But, I talked with the brother, heard his plight and changed my mind. While I said he could not come here to live and I meant it; I changed my mind.

Did I mean it when I said no? Yes, very much so. I changed my position when I heard the facts. I meant what I said, but I changed my position when I had more information.

Deep down inside do you really honestly care about if i mean what i say all the time? of course not it's all just an act! so no i don't mean what i say all the time but i do mean it when i say that no one really means everything that they say all the time...with sarcasm and jokes...mean stuff no one means what they say all the time...

no and you can usually tell from my answer if I'm being flippant, sarcastic, trying to be humorous, if I don't have a clue, temporarily of unsound mind or whatever. However, I try to answer serious questions seriously. It just depends on the question and how I react to it. Sometimes I wish I hadn't reacted at all, at least not publicly.
