I would take it as a total non-answer.
It probably means that your professor either 1) doesn't have a letter grade for you yet, or 2) your professor doesn't recall what your grade is and didn't want to look it up right then.
Given that you are a college student, your professor probably wants you more focused on what is being taught and less on what your grade is in the class. Analyze the amount of work you have done (or missed doing), and the quality of that work, and decide for yourself "what level you should be at".

To me that means two things. From an optimistic point of view it means "You are really applying yourself, and trying your best" In the world of pessimism however it means "You're just not a very bright person, maybe you should try sports instead"

To me this would mean, you know what your performance has been, and what you are getting matches that. My guess is that your friend either hasn't been showing up to class, or she has missed (or failed) a number of assignments.
