Ultimately, I choose A. And in so doing, I acknowledge that I have at times (and probably will again) stooped to seeking B. We all do that now and then, though I'd like to think I'm big enough to admit when I'm wrong (eventually) and let it expand my thinking just a little more.

C) either

What I'm looking for is to constantly be learning. Whether the learning supports my opinion or is "enlightenment" isn't relavent. that I learn something, for better or for worse, is.

At the same time, while I don't intentionally seek out something that supports my current position, I do find myself sometimes ignoring the other side of the issue and have to consciously force myself to consider it.

I honestly don't look for my opinion to be changed. I honestly do consider the arguments I encounter and whether or not they make sense. I hope I am open enough to truth to change my opinion when I encounter arguments that are better then mine. I know I have done this a few times but I hope I do it all the time.

I am honestly not sure if I do.

A)

The truth will win out in the end. It's cheesy but true. So even if I am as self-serving as answer B suggests, I would choose A, because then not only would I be correct, but I would get the benefit of B as well.

Peace of mind and contentment. I'm too old and tired for all the things you are asking about. I just want to retire at an early age after winning a lot of money in the lottery, move away so no one can find me, and just enjoy my daughter and my grand kids until I die. Hope this helps!!!

neither. I'm not looking for spiritualy enlightenment of any sort. I'm just looking to live my life one day at a time. get married, start a family, grow old, and die of old age. But I know that my ideal life will never happen, I'm probably going to die of lung cancer at an early age due to second hand smoke from my jackass friends.

NOTHING SOUGHT. Be the best person you can be. Live according to Golden Rule and be content with what you have and who you are. What is - is, What will be - will be. Why worry about it or look for something. If you 'need' something, sooner or later it will appear. But you can't hide either.

out of those 2, I'd pick A, of course.

I'm always seeking the truth, even if it means my beliefs will be proven to be wrong. The truth is all that matters.

Make up with my father and mother and live somewhere happily. They are now detached. I am spending my time here with you to forget about that. Its really painful for me. Build a standard house, buy a car, get a prestigious job, make my father and mother happy and finally time pass with friends like you.
