Not always. Sometimes, when people are drunk, they voice their grievances, which can mean saying things as much to hurt someone as to reveal the truth. We all occasionally allow ourselves to think things that we know aren't *really* justifiable, or at least I sometimes do.

A few weeks ago, I myself had an argument with a friend after drinking. I accused her of patronising me, which at the time I knew wasn't really the case, it was just that I'd had a bad day and wanted to vent my anger at someone. But it was never really the case, and we made up soon after. Alcohol stops people from restraining their feelings, but that's not always the same as making the truth visible.

Hope that helps

Works ever single time, but just be sure they're in a good mood when they are drunk. Like my friend and I found the password to his brother's online game account that he has been playing on for 1.5 years on night when he came home from a date at a bar.

yes, but sometimes a random thought just comes out of your mouth, like "I want to climb Mount Everest someday".

It maybe true, but it's not anything you are really serious about doing. So there's truth and then there is what people would really act on.

In Vino Veritas?

The expression is as old as the Romans. What do you think?

The problem is not whether or not the truth comes out - the problem
is distinguishing it from the BS.

Not really, it depends on the person, some tell the truth and some are just plain mush brain and don't know what the hell they are saying. Drinks afffect different people in different ways.

Not always, I reckon if your talking to a person that you have kept a secret from or know something about then yeah but otherwise its just random babble and you look like an idiot =D
