Is violence always wrong?

I don't personally think that it is, I think that not only that there are situations were it is warrentied but it is naturally apart of us. I just insterest in hearing about others peoples view point and take on the subject.

I think self defense isn't wrong. I recently got broke into (while I was home) I didn't have gun, but I got away. I now have a gun and I wouldn't think twice about using it to defend myself. We can't be afraid to defend ourselves although I think sometimes this country tries to tell us it's wrong and we should just run away like cowards. Take for example...when I was in school if someone hit you....you hit them back. Now if you do you are arrested and hauled off to jail.

i dont. We somtimes have those inner rage, where we cant control ourselves, and just start to pound on that guy or girl. Personally i dont think the government thinks so either. i mean why else would we have wars, with guns and pools of blood? isnt that violence? isnt that killing our friend's family? our own families maybe? no violence has always been there.., always will. it is never wrong. unless u dont have have a reason to hurt that somone.., like wars. why do we fight and let ourselves and other risk lives for somthing thats not our problem? why do schools and parents teach us violence is wrong? when it is the "solution" to economic problems, and even the outcome of our futures.

I believe violence is only justified as a last resort, when all else has failed and when the consequences of not acting outweigh the cost.

Well, if a person you love, or a stranger was being attack from a rapist, I would definitely try to protect that person. I cant just stand there and talk the person out of it.
