ok so i'm 14 and i haven't pulled my foreskin back yet cuz i'm afraid that it will hurt. i read that if the foreskin is tight then it might get stuck when i try to pull it back up.thats why i'm so scared to pull it down.
1) does it hurt to pull the foreskin down the first time?
2) should i do it while soft first?
3) how can i make it loose?
don't mention sex lol

ok so i had started to pull it down a little since 10 yrs of age but it only goes down like 1 1/2 in or so
then i get scared to roll it down even more cuz the skin at the top looks like it will not go back anymore.
and it also starts to feel pain.
hardly any pain at all, i can endure it.
can barely feel it but since i'm worried about it getting stuck at the bottom.
and also, it gets red after i pull it down 1 1/2 inches.
(the top of the head)

~I agree with the caliwife, get it snipped. I won't give oral to an uncircumcised one, and it doesn't look appealing to me at all. Looks like an elephant trunk.
Something to think about.~

1. It should not hurt to pull back the foreskin for the first time. If you're worried, go slowly and it should go back easily and comfortably; it kind of "rolls back" sometimes. If at any point it feels tight to the point that going any further would be uncomfortable or painful, stop.
2. You should be able to pull back your foreskin when you're soft or hard, it really doesn't matter. It's definitely easier to pull it back when soft though.
3. If it's tight, there are many ways to loosen it so it goes back easier. There are stretching exercises (link 1) and prescription creams (link 2) that'll help loosen it. If your foreskin is tight, try the stretching exercises first before anything else; that should fix it within a month or so. If not, proceed to the creams. See the remaining links for more info on what to do about a tight foreskin.
Don't be afraid that it'll hurt, because if your foreskin's working normally and isn't tight, it should actually feel kind of good. If it gets stuck (particularly if you have an erection), just squeeze the head of the penis while kind of "shoving" it back under the foreskin to get the foreskin back over the head. Do this gently and slowly, but you probably won't have this problem.

OK, the answers:
1. If there are adhesions, yes. By your age there shouldn't really be any.
2. Yes. You have a much better chance.
3. Work at it slowly, roll it, play with it.
Now my opinion, and I'm not a doctor. I have a huge, loose foreskin and honestly, foreskins are still a pain. As soon as I get up the courage to ask a doctor to do it, I plan to be circumcised. I would suggest you consider the same.
You have other options, but circumcision would be an instant fix and honestly, even a fully functional foreskin is a huge annoyance as I have found.
Dorsal slits like mentioned above? Those are a bad idea. You cut a slit in the foreskin and it just looks really ugly. The head is still exposed like if you're circumcised but you have a huge half-cut flap just hanging down. A dorsal slit is functional but ugly and I imagine quite annoying.
Slow stretching will probably work if you want to keep your foreskin. It can't hurt much, except as it is you probably have a good excuse to get your insurance to pay for a circumcision. If you get it loosened, then you will end up like me having to pay out of pocket (over $1000 from what I've read) for your circ if you choose to do so in the future (many girls will insist on it for one thing, and you may find like me that your foreskin still annoys you like crazy).
Good luck whatever you do! And also don't let radicals on either side of the circumcision debate sway you. It's a personal cosmetic and sexual choice that is yours to make. It has it's list of pros and cons. In this case though, I think you might want to seriously consider it. Your problems would be gone in one simple cut, and you'd have a lot of other benefits (cleaner, looks better, girl appeal, reduced ability to masturbate [may be a pro or con to you], lower risk of certain STDs [still be safe! preferably abstain until marriage!], etc). The downsides are a possibility of reduced sensation and the minimal risk of complications any surgery has. In infants there is the issue of informed consent too... that's a whole different ballgame I won't go in to because it doesn't apply to you (MANY anti-circ advocates FORGET our right as grown people to make our own choices).

Yes, if you've never done it before the foreskin might be 'attached' to the head. That's normal; that's how young kids and babies are, it prevents dirty stuff like poo from getting into the head of the penis.
Take it slowly when you shower, slide it back the most you can without pain. Then rub the head what little you can; slowly it'll get less sensitive (if it's too sensitive). But you have to do this each time you shower. Slowly it'll slide more and more after a few days and weeks. Eventually all should be fine.
E-mail me from my profile if you have any questions.

Its important that you be able to pull the foreskin back at least enough to clean under it, but also to insure that it doesn't become so tight that it could cause problems. Not a sex answer...really...but masterbation really is the best way to loosen that foreskin. As others have mentioned, do it in the shower where the warmth, wet, and soap will really help with the process.

had the same problem
try pulling the endof the skin out to both sides while your soft so it streches, then pull it back until it feels tight and hold it there for like 2 or 3 seconds.
do it slowly and gradually it doesnt hurt, dont be nervous thats the main thing.
try not to look if it makes you nervous and do it in a warm shower
dotn try and rush things , it could take up to a month or 2

Louis XVI was unable to have sex with Marie Antionette for a couple years after their marriage because of this condition. He finally mustered what little courage he had and a minor surgical procedure solved the problem. The couple promptly had two children.
Circumcision is not required, only a lateral snip to lossen things up.

I've been pulling it down as long as I can remember.
Do it ONLY while soft, at least until it's stretched out a little.
Try doing it in the shower, the wet helps the skin slide back.

it will be fine. it it hurts stop. If you need to, gently stretch the skin over time you can also use some kind of lubrication. If it is severe then talk to your doctor about it.

Just get it removed and save yourself the worry. Stew1350 is my husband. I love him to death but I wish he'd get rid of it. Its gross. And it makes me want to do less... stuff. I've had both circumcised, and not circumcised men and I prefer it to be foreskin free. From a female perspective, that's all.
