Im a very active 27 year old with keen interests in long distance running and body sculpting. The BMI says that i am currently over weight at 83kg being 175cm however I have a muscular type upper& lower body. im not sure of my body fat percentage but im confident its quite low, should i be more concerned about my body fat percentage other than my total weight?

Use the mirror instead of the scales. If you look good and feel good, then you are at a good weight. BMI charts are not accurate for people with a lot of muscle mass.
