It was the heat of the fuel that brought the towers down. They essentially melted and, due to the jets flying into them, the structure was damaged and the weight at the top was considerable. As for Osama, if I knew where he was, he'd be dead. Hope this helps!!

In the history of the world, fire has never brought down ANY steel and concrete buildings. The Twin Towers were engineering marvels, decades ahead of their time. If you watch the hours of video of the collapse, you can see clearly the buildings being exploded BELOW the advancing 'collapse'. And one of those structures, WTC #7, had very little damage and, according to NYFD, small pockets of fire that could be extinguished with 2 lines. The buildings were destroyed by controlled demolition, not fire.And what about the plane that allegedly struck the Pentagon? Where is the wreckage from that aircraft? 767's don't evaporate into thin air after piercing a 16ft hole in a building.WAKE THE F*CK UP!!! Who planned and carried it out? We'll probably never know, but the 'Official' explanation is the true conspiracy theory. I don't know if you are one of those who think Bush planned the attacks, but I have some questions for those who do.

Why didn't he blame it on terrorists who were friends with Saddam, rather than on "his friend" bin Laden. He wanted to take out Saddam all along, according to his critics, so why waste time on Afghanistan?

If he was so skilled at such a vast conspiracy, how could it be that he didn't plant nuclear weapons or partial nukes in Iraq to support his claim that Saddam was trying to get nukes?

Why are all the conspiracy theorists still walking around free if he is the type of person they all say he is. Wouldn't they have had "accidents" by now or strangely disappeared? Guys who have the power and will to carry out such conspiracies don't like to be found out and wouldn't be inhibited about destroying a few more lives after killing 3000 or so.
