I like it. The newer cars need to go faster and perform better than last years models. The problem now is that the government has passed new CAFE ratings for cars to get 35 mpg in the future something like 2015 or 20. So it looks like the engines will have to start getting a lot smaller in coming years. So enjoy it now while you can.

well their not totally dropping all the smaller engines, but i do like to have a choice of what to buy,it seems were going backwards these days the higher gas goes the bigger the engines get, someone for got to tell the car company's that gas is really high right now,but its getting bad when it comes to bigger engines, and they aren't getting the gas mileage that they say they will get either, most of them are well under what the actually say they will get,but people are so excited about owning a new car to realize their not really getting what the wanted, they cant drop the small engines though,if gas goes any higher, you,ll see a lot of cars getting traded in,with bigger engines in them,i seen it happen in the 70,s,and it wasn't a good thing, good luck hope this helps.

If fuel were to hit $6.00 per gallon this summer, you would see the opposite.

The car manufacturers are simply responding to buyer demand.
