it is really red and hurts to touch. it is right in an area where a swim suit won't cover it and i need it to go away by mnday. what can i do to make it go away faster?

Treat it like a pimple - use toner, Clearasil or other acne cream, or toothpaste.
Put a bandaid over the cream or paste, so it stays on and continues to work.
If it gets worse [ bigger, redder, or more painful ], show your mom - you may have an abscess.
P.S. consider a swimsuit with more coverage, if it doesn't cover your behind.

It is probably an in grown hair. Keep it clean and if it continues to grow go to a doctor to take care of it.

It sounds like a "boil." Go to the doctor for some antibiotics and see if he will drain it.

use clearasil on it if in fact it is just a pimple, it could be a bite of some sort

it is probably just a clogged hair folical.. there really is not that much u can do... try to exfoliate it like with a srub and such

try some calamine lotion . It's antiseptic and takes the red out .

go to an urgent care for an I&D and antibiotic treatment.
