Varies. Cows in North & South America lives upto 16 years but eastwards in Australia & India, they live upto 20 years.

About what cold fearrr said... 12 to 16 years eating most anything. Unless you mean the "cows" that make it to your table as a T-bone steak. Those steers only make it about 12 months at best.
