you never get over it, but you get used to it. Try to go to bed 1/2 hr earlier, it makes a difference

Every person and pregnancy is different. You may find that in the second trimester you seem to have more energy, then get tired again during the last three months. Remember, your body is working to build a little human inside of you, and it can be very draining. The best thing to do is eat well, and get rest. Take a nap (if you can) when you get tired.

It went away for about 3 weeks, 17-20, and now it's back in full fury. I'm 26weeks along and i'm soooo tired at the end of the day, during the day, when i wake up. I'm not sure why, but I've been told it's normal and just to wait it out. Bah!! I have a theory that this is my body getting me ready for getting up every 2 hours. I hope it's for something!! LOL. It's normal, don't worry too much about it.

You should perk up a bit soon, second trimester is the easiest one. However - watch your iron levels if you are feeling very tired (tired enough to ask us mob about it!). Mention it to the doctor when you see them next. You need to eat plenty of red meat, and drink OJ (for the Vit C to help absorb the iron) when you are pregnant.
I'm 39.5 weeks and worked full time up until 37 wks - just by eating meat and OJ when I felt too tired - nearly there now!
Cheers
Shad.

Yes, the tiredness will go away , probably not until like your 5th or 6th month, but expect it to come back full force around your 8th month. Good luck with the rest of your pregnancy!

I am still exhausted, but it did let up a little bit at 16 weeks, Just make sure to stay well rested since your organs work so much harder during pregnancy ( example... your heart works 50% harder) So nap when you can!

I have 2 kids and you have at least 5 - 10 years before you get a good nights sleep ( of corse you'll still wake occasionally and sneak in to check still )
