We want to send out pregnancy announcements to friends and family all over the country ... but we want it to be creative!

Any ideas like a picture of my husband and I with the pregnancy test? Anything?

Thanks!

I am now 3 months pregnant and want to tell family and close friends. If something was to happen, I'm sure they'd understand :)

We waited until three months as well, and then send out a photo of a bun in the oven with our names on it. It was fun to see how long it took people to figure it out. Ironically the guys got it faster than the girls:)

I agree with the first person, I went through a miscarriage and it was hard dealing with all the people who afterward were trying to be kind and didn't know and would ask about the baby... it was so hard to say it over and over. If you choose to wait (until the ultrasound) for other than close family... I would copy the picture of the ultrasound and send it as the announcement!

If I were telling before the ultrasound, I would go to a dollar store and buy those 3 for a dollar pacifiers, tie a tag on them that said "John and Jenny announce the upcoming birth of their darling baby." Or something along those lines and mail the pacifiers...

Best of luck, what a joyous occasion - you are truly making a miracle...

Bless you and your sweet baby.

Someone I know had alot of people to notify all over the country and they wanted everyone to know at the same time, so they mailed them a letter and wrote on the envelope to open on such and such a date at such and such a time. That way everyone found out at the exact moment. It was pretty cool. They enclosed a picture of their first ultrasound picture.

yes, wait!! Not to burst your bubble or make you worry, but there is always a chace that something will happen, and then you have to either let everyone know about your loss or deal with people calling you around your due date and you having to tell them you lost the baby. I have been there, and its the worst thing in the world. Tell your close friends and family, and wait unitl the baby is here to send vout birth announcements

i think it would be cute to take the picture of you and your husband with a black and white photo booth style and make it like a postcard and then on the other side spread your good news...
