I borrow stuff from my neighbors sometimes. I borrowed some sugar the other day, and some foil a couple of months ago. I try not to do it too much, but they're old and I think they like it. Gives us a reason to talk. I always repay them way more than I borrowed too, so it works out for them!

Yes i have, i needed lots and lots of ice....i didn't have time to go to the store and buy bags full of ice. I had a speech that included me making crepes in front of the class, and i needed everything to be kept cold until then. They gave me all their ice, but it was only half a plastic bag full (like the size of a grocery store kinda bag, not a trash bag....).

I ask for them to keep a eye on my place while vacationing but other than that I have never asked for anything else.

yes.... i asked him if he would help me lean how to light my pilot light. he did, and was very nice bout it. but i just had him tell me what to do, i wanted to learn for myself. and i did!
