Are male genital piercings "functional"?

Question

First off, there's some points that need to be addressed:
- I have one so don't bother trying to convince me not to do it
- (BUT WHY?!)...because it was the last thing anyone would ever expect me to do
- No, it wasn't as painful as you imagine
- No, I don't sit when I pee
- No, I don't value your opinion of my lifestyle or aesthetics
- No, I will not have sex with you

Now then, I'm pretty happy with my Prince Albert. It doesn't get in the way even though I'm a road cyclist and take it out every single day to climb into spandex. All in all, it's fun for ME.

However, it's new enough that I haven't gotten a lot of outside opinions, male or female. I'm trying to gather anecdotal information beyond my own experience.

Are male genital piercings novel, fun, pleasurable for partners....? Do they end up being frightening when disclosed? Are they more work than they're worth?

What's the consensus out there?

Wow, i can't believe none of these people took your question seriously. That's pretty ridiculous.

I don't know why it would be frightening.. unless it was like at a 0 gauge with a huge freaking ring in it.

Every woman is different. There are some that will get a TON of pleasure out of a male genital piercing, there are others that won't feel it at all, and still others that will be in real pain from it.

Whenever you're going to have sex with the piercing in, make sure you take it really slow at least at first, just incase it ends up being painful for her. If she's fine, go ahead. if she likes it, well then wahoo!

Seriously tho, I can't give you a definitive answer to this because every person is different and what they find pleasurable will be different from everyone else.

My personal experience has been that they are very hot to see. Period. That there is absolutely no negative impact on intercourse. In fact, I think they create some additional and pleasurable sensations.

There can be some problems with oral sex. They can set off that gag response. I have heard stories of them getting caught on the tonsils. I'd say don't go crazy with the diameter of the ring. I personally think a large guage (0-4 maybe) is easier to take than something smaller; it just slides down more easily. And I think a curved bar goes down more easily than a full ring; and it still looks really good.

First of No I don't want to have sex with you either. Just a little information that you might like to know. The Romans worshiped Isis the goddess something it is said she pierced the genitals of her male lovers so the sperm would drain out and she would not get pregnant and mess up her single fun. My boyfriend has a prince albert... He peirced his right in front of me by himself and it didn't appear to hurt at all.... I make him take it off a lot before sex. It hurts me. In fact, it has even made me bleed when we really got into it... He loves it and never lets it heal up, even when I do make him take it out every night... And I think if you like it you should give a **** what anyone else thinks. I would never ask my boyfriend to let it heal up because I think it's like any other pericing.. There are some pretty scary peircings out there for male genital peircings.. Have you heard of the "Prince's Wand"??? It goes straight through the head of the penis [like through where you pee] and is a bar that goes all the way down to the base of the penis. There is a little peircing that goes right under the head of the penis through to the bar to screw it in... The weird part is, the man has to be erect to be fitted for it.. I can't see a man staying *ERECT* while someone stuck a bar through their dick!!!!!!!!!! You can google pictures of it and find the drawings they are the most explanitory...

well..ive never had partners wit prince albert piercing..although I did try to convince my bf to get it! (hehe)

i think they'd end up being rlly sexy when disclosed..not frightening..finding a tattoo of a dragon 'when disclosed' wud be frightening(google it..lol)! not a prince albert peircing tho! lol

and i do think it wud feel pretty good for da girl..more pressure and stuff..easier to hit da G-spot too..

ive never seen a pierced wiener, i would like to see, but i dont know how pleasurable it would be for a girl. again never had the experience. i think if i was in the situation where im gonna get laid and the guy has it pierced i would ask him to take it out.

thats an interesting question. I think there kool on men but women with genital piercings just doesnt seem right. Seems to delicate and will rip right out lol ouch. but on males woo hoo sexy as long as the guys sexy too lol ;-)

Personally, I consider body piercing a form of self-mutilation. I don't really see the appeal.

But from a practical point of view, you should hope one of those bling-blings on your scrotum or foreskin (or wherever the hell you have it) won't catch on a zipper, or underwear, or her braces.

Generally what happens is they get infected, the penis turns green, gets all pusy and the doctors have to remove the whole thing plus your sack too!!! but thatll teach you to be a moronic fashion victim.
