If you are happy being skinny, good for you! None of the girls in my family weighed over 105 until out of our teens, and none of us ever missed a period [ until we had babies ]. We could clean out a buffet in no time.
Do situps, pushups, and pullups to stay toned.
Take vitamins, eat well, and avoid junk food - you'll be fine.

so your typical practitioner is an exceedingly undesirable word!!! so my twins have been 5-5 and 5-15 whilst they have been born, at 18 and 18-3/4 long. they are 3 months previous weighing 12 kilos each and each now at approximately 22 inches long for the two and MY pediatrician, who has been my pediatrician for 10 years, says they are doing fantastically, and not basically that, they don't look to be completely breastfed! dismiss that moron's suggestion. not basically THAT, yet ( oh see, now i'm all fired up FOR you!! LOL) breastfed toddlers will lose various fat whilst they grow to be cellular. Please. it rather is in contrast to you're sitting at abode doing not something yet rigidity feeding the lil princess. rather! some people.... even the medically experienced ones. * huge eye roll* purely proceed to feed on call for. whether it rather is greater desirable than each 2 hours or so, i could be liable to rigidity, even though it ISN"T, so THERE! LOL

Being underweight is just as unhealthy as being overweight. I would rather be underweight so I could eat a lot and gain weight! lol but I dont hav that problem. Did you know being over/underweight is just as unhealthy as having cancer? Your body needs that weight to eat off of if u miss a meal at any time or your body will start to eat itself. Literally organs and all! For your period, the 1st 2 years u hav it is going to be very abnormal missing a lot of periods. Dont worry. I went without my period for 7 months once! Also, if u want to develop more (breast size or soemthing) I suggest u gain weight. Because in order to make the hormones to create that development, it needs fat. So that is y u see skinny girls hav flat chests and they get their period when they r wayyy older.

As long as you eat healthy (*well sized large portions), it is fine. I think that you should, however, drink a 4000 or 2000 calorie milkshake each day because you are very thin and have a fast metabolism. It can become a problem, although not a diagnosed one. I had a teacher who- had a friend who was in a very similar, dangerous situation, but you are in your teen years so it will probably get better over time. :) Be careful. Your BMI is very, very low. Good Iuck!:)

Childhood obesity is obviously NOT your problem . Good, thats great. But another epidemic in America is teenage anorexia and bolemia. Girls are literally KILLING themselves to be thin. Your doctor is just showing concern that your thinness is hereditary, and not something that you are bringing on yourself by purging ( vomitting by forcing yourself to do so ) after you eat a meal . He is just wanting to make sure that you are not going down a path that sooo may other girls have gone down and have died for doing. Don't dislike him for this; too may young girls in our country are so stupid and blinded by the media into believing that they have to be stick figures to be beautiful, that they are willing to literally DIE for their image of what is beautiful, and they can't see that they really are beautiful to begin with and the image they are forcing themselves to BECOME is actually grotesque and sad. Look at Karen Carpenter- she killed herself by doing this to be 'beautiful'. SSOOOO sad!!
SO you can see why your doctor is concerned now, can't you? The next time you see him, just talk to him and reassure him that you are not one of 'those' girls and that this is a hereditary body type fo ryou , and tellhim about your aunts and cousins and sisters, your mother and grand mother. Then, maybe he'll be a little more understanding and not quite so scrutinizing of you from now on. A good relationship with your doctor is a NESSECITY in this day and age. You need to feel extremely comfortable with him/her to be able to discuss ANY issue that comes up with your health and kNOW that you can trust them with it.Talk to your doctor. It'll be ok.

you should be 130lbs... if you are within 15% of ideal weight + or - it's considered to be acceptable, but you are 20% below ideal, so your doctor is right to be concerned. Thats his job and you shuold listen
