I'm sorry your question is really unclear and impossible to help you. Please write it like this:

2w^4 * y^4 - 2y^4

There is a difference between: 2w^4 and (2w)^4

I would like to help you but have no idea what the question is.. Sry...

Good luck,

2 w^4 y^4 - 2 y^4 Factor out a 2.
2(w^4 y^4 - y^4) Factor out y^4.
2 y^4(w^4 - 1) The parentheses contain the difference of two squares.
2 y^4(w^2 + 1)(w^2 - 1) The second parens contain the difference of two squares and should be factored further.
2 y^4(w^2 + 1)(w + 1)(w - 1) Should be it.

Based on your question, I assume you emant 2w^4y^4-2y^4
Factor out the 2.
2(w^4y^4-y^4)
They are the subtraction of two squares.
2(w^2y^2+y^2)(w^2y^2-y^2)

Hope this helps!
