I know there are major issues in life, but sometimes it's the day-to-day things that drive you mad too.
Some of mine (a mixture of things, but BOY do they get on my bloody nerves when they occur!)

People who ask a question, but don't really listen to the answer.

Stripey sausages (can't eat them - the pink bits always look undercooked)

BBQ food (in general) usually burnt on outside, half raw in middle

People who use the letters BBQ

Misuse of apostrophes (maybe I should say apostophe's)

Tables/chairs in cafes etc. with wonky legs

The weather report says possible chance of thunder & the PC crashes (I think my computer may have Klinsman syndrome)

Kids (whatever age) who don't want to know you all day, then when you're on the phone for two minutes need your urgent attention

Per-leeze!
I am laughing as I type because I'm probably guilty myself of some of them, but sometimes, don't things make you so damn CROSS?!

Well I agree with your first pet peeve it drives me mad when people don't ever listen to what you have to say even though you listen politely to them they are just waiting for their turn to speak... They dont even hear what you say in response.

I can't stand it when people just throw all the dirty dishes in the sink, food and all... then leave the dishcloth in there too so it gets all stinky and you have to get a new one.

People who dont clean up after themselves or put things away right after using them... Not much gets my dander up as quickly as someone who makes a sandwich, leaves the bread bag open, the condiments out and crumbs on the counter, then proceeds to eat and leave their dishes out as well.

The bread tie!! why can't anyone put it back on the bag??? That is what it is for, it isnt something useless... its there to hold the bread bag closed so the bread doesn't go stale!!

Stinky feet... it's disgusting, and if you are offended that I mention it then go wash your friggin' feet! Not much is worse than sitting on the couch trying to watch TV or eat a snack and all you can smell is sour feet.

People who have dogs but when they are walking them, dont allow the dog to sniff or wait for the dog to go to the bathroom... It's rude, how would you feel if you were trying to take a dump and someone was yanking on your neck telling you to hurry up?? Let the dog do it's business, who's walk is it anyway..... yours, or the dogs?

People who do things the hard way... Why must some people continue to do something the most arduous way possible even though you politely showed them a faster more efficient way of doing it???

People who believe everything they hear and think that means it HAS to be true, if so-and-so told them, or they got an e-mail. Stop being so gullible people, wive's tales, myths, rumours and chain mail are NOT sources of knowledge. Sorry but its just really annoying to have to explain to people again and again that yes a duck's quack does echo, no a black tongue doesn't mean a dog has chow, no dogs can't "lock" their jaws. It drives me mad that most people never question something someone "told" them they just take it as fact.

People who waste things... it drives me bananas to see someone throw out a whole plate of food or something just because it isn't perfect, it's such a waste!!!! This also ties in to the whole "Picky people piss me off peeve" as well because it is mostly picky people who waste things ALL the time, it infuriates me. So many people and animals go hungry, you might as well give it to them instead of wasting it!!

Finally in my long and abridged list of irritating idiosyncrasies... For the millionth time the word "Ignorant" does not mean "rude" it never has and it never will... where you people get that definition from is beyond me, but if you are going to use a word, make sure you know what it means for crying out loud!!
