Men dont have wombs, women dont have the organism needed for male reproduction, such is even impossible with transgender operations...

The same way it continues now; men would impregnate women.

Being gay doesn't make reproduction impossible; a gay man can still impregnate a woman, and a gay woman can still bear children; they wouldn't enjoy it, but that doesn't make it physically impossible.

And, BTW, there's no such thing as 'transgender operations'.

The same way that gay women have babies now. They get donor sperm, or have sex with a man, even if it is a "once off".
This would probably not be enough to save the human race, however, To survive, we need to produce more than one baby per adult. This would be unlikely if everyone was gay. Cloning would not work, as there must be both male and female component in the chromosomes, not just the sex chromosomes, but also the other chromosomes.

On the whole, though, I imagine that anyone who was not gay would have a definite advantage in the offspring production stakes.

While I have absolutely no personal interest in gay activities I must admit that most of the problems facing humans today would be solved if most people were gay. Our main problem is over population and if most people decided to be gay the problem would be solved in one generation. Once that problem was solved the pressures to be gay would disappear and the population would probably return to heterosexual. Research on rats showed if they were kept in a confined place but allowed all the food and resources they wanted homosexual behavior increased as the population increased until they were no longer interested in procreation. Homosexuality is a natural response th the human condition. Not a sin although it is a health issue for the individual unless they are careful.

Gay people have the desire to procreate just the same as straight people. Fortunately for everyone living today we have technology. We are able to take some sperm and mix it with some eggs and get an embryo. We can then take that embryo and implant it into a uterus and it will hopefully grow into a viable life. There is no sex necessary. Gay men can pay gay female surrogates for their ova and wombs in order to copulate, gay women can pay gay men for their sperm.

First off, being gay only means that the person doesn't
like having sex with someone of the other gender.

It doesn't mean they can't ... if well enough motivated,
(like wanting a child), its amazing what you can do.

We're getting to the point where the original chromosomes
can be removed from an egg and chromosomes from the
partners used instead - so all we need is a place to gestate.

And woman will gestate for money.

Give science enough time, and men will too!

Barring artificial means (like AI), humanity would not continue.

But I hope this isn't intended as an argument against homosexuality.

If so then the same argument would hold for celibacy or infertility or birth control ... if every human being was celibate, infertile, or practiced birth control, then the future of humanity would be equally in danger.

... but nobody would argue that celibacy or infertility or birth control should be outlawed, or that constitutional amendments be passed to prevent celibate or infertile couples, or couples who avoided pregnancy through birth control, from marrying. :-)

My point ... it is OK that some people are gay, celibate, infertile, or just choosing not to have children.

Humanity wouldn't last, if all those gay people followed their natural inclinations. Natural selection is why most people are straight.

Characteristics must be handed down to offspring in order to survive. The small percentage of gay people each generation doesn't threaten the continuation of the entire "tribe" of humans. If the percentage got larger, we'd be in trouble.

What would happen would be extra pair copulations with the opposite sex. Sex between males and females would occur but love would not. Babies would still be born. Sex and birth are the hardest things to stop.
*Females have an organism, they dont have sperm.
