Business is not a particularly difficult major to get into overall as an undergraduate, although it depends upon the school to which you are applying. For example, Wharton (University of Pennsylvania) is listed by Business Week as the top undergraduate business program, but it is a small, extremely selective program. Other top schools may admit you to the university, and you have to do really well in your first two years in order to be admitted to the business school.
You can get a job with a bachelor's degree, but many larger companies expect people eventually to get the MBA in order to move up, and that is another two years. The problem is that unlike with medical school, which most people do right after getting their bachelor's degrees, the better schools require 3-5 years minimum of post-college full-time work experience before admitting you to their MBA programs.
Business majors make a wide range of salaries, depending upon what they do. Starting salaries for undergraduates are usually highest in accounting, finance, and sales. At the MBA level, higher salaries are in things like investment banking and consulting. You mention marketing, and you can do reasonably well in areas like brand management and professional selling, but if you want to go into advertising or retailing, get ready for REALLY low starting salaries.
Apple is just one company, so they don't hire too many people each year, and most of those would be tech types. They do, of course, hire other types of managers, but I don't see them as a huge source of jobs. I would caution you against getting your heart set on one company. I've seen students do that (Nike is the one I've seen most often), and almost invariably, they apply again and again and get nowhere. Keep your mind open, and you will certainly find a job doing something interesting.

If you don't have a lot of money, then usually the service sector is a good place to start a business. Look at your Dad and Mom, your neighbours, your friends parents, is there a task that has to be done on a semi regular basis but everyone hates doing. Here is my list. cleaning the gutters washing houses with metal coated siding (dirt tends to darken them) mowing the lawn and doing the edging along the side walk everyone hates pulling weeds on their lawn then covering up digging a new garden turning over the soil for an existing one - an English lawn service. In England some places have perfect lawn. It invovles constantly reseeding on a micro level and covering the seeds with peat so the birds to get them all. Some places use a small bird protector which is a palstic green net attached over the place being reseeded. Constantly reseeding chokes out the weeds so there are no pesticides. Roll the lawn (you can by a cheap one that you fill with water or find a stone one in the classified. It involves other things that you can look up, but the purpose is to gradually build more peat into the soil, which holds water for up to a month and having the grass so thick that weeds can't grow. It's literally like a carpet. - house painting, you'll need to buy a paint stripper, sand paper, a small crack plaster repair kit and painting supplies like plasic covers, masking tape. Also wooden frame houses need constant painting. Most people repaint one side a year to keep the wood from rotting. walking dogs -- some old people and busy people can't do it on a regular basis. Anyway ask your parents and neigbours, aunts and uncles what chore they hate doing the most and that will make a good business.

I assume you are looking at an undergraduate business major, which is not hard to get into, and has no more or less schooling requirement than other majors. You can do very well with one, but generally speaking, people who work in marketing earn less than their counterparts in finance, accounting and management information systems. That said, go with what you want to do and feel you will be good at doing.
Apple is a great company, but talk to them and see if they hire people with an undergrad in marketing or if you will need an MBA to have a realistic chance of getting hired. Try to do a summer internship with them.
As far as an undergrad in business, U Penn is probably the best overall, but if you can get into Stanford, you will be close to Apple which will help ypu when you try to get an internship there. For marketing at the MBA level, Northwestern is considered to have the best program. If you go to any top business school and do well, you almost certainly will make a lot of money because you will have access to a lot of recruiters and a great alumni network that can help you get hired. There is a lot of competition for positions at Apple, but talk to their recruiters about the company and their projected hiring needs and recruiting process. Good luck....
