What do you recommend?

Equal. I've tried both. I know that Splenda is SUPPOSED to taste like sugar because it's made from sugar. But I think it's actually the more artificial tasting of the two.
That's my opinion anyway. It could also be that I was using Equal for years before Splenda came out, so I'm just used to Equal, perhaps.

Both! What ever is available. I prefere equal, but splenda tastes genuine. But, it takes more.
