I have never been in this kind of situation, but I believe it is understandable to be a little scared of change. I agree with the answer to follow your heart and be true to yourself. Good luck and do keep in touch and let us know how things are going for you.

My heart goes out to you. It is going to be very life changing for you. You are used to everything being in its place and doing things your way. Not to mention independence is a wonderful thing! Just be patient, (somewhat) understanding and take thing one day at a time. Just remember, if things don't work out, you are under no obligation to stay with him. Good luck!

Most don't work in this manner for many reasons. That is one.

It will be just a strange for him and he has been with men for so long, he will be hard to keep home. Will his previous loser friends then come to hang out at your place? Will he go back to what put him in jail? Job?

Good luck, but the odds are against it working.

He is going to need you now more than ever so I say get some counseling and pray for each other while attending church.

**His body might be hard in all the right places so I would try to be there for him upon his release.

You can do better. Trust me.
If you truly feel and see that he has
changed for the better, then stick with him.
Ultimately, trust your instincts. If for one
second you think "its not going to work"
you've come up with the answer....
