He doesn't seem to think so. He believes in the "unitary executive", which is a fancy way of saying that he isn't responsible to no one. He can have people tortured, he can have anyone killed, and he isn't responsible to congress or the constitution.

Today, he said that he didn't have to follow his own law.

Do you think this is right and he should be able to do whatever he wants or do you think the President serves at the pleasure of the People of the United States?

Of course he doesn't have the right to flout the law, although Herr Bush definitely thinks he does. I think he has made this abundantly clear in the reading of his ludicrous signing statements when he signs bills into law. They carry no force of law, and even his political allies, like Sen. John Cornyn, have acknowledged this. Despite what Dubya thinks, he does serve at the pleasure of the people, and he is subject to the Constitution. Our representatives in Washington just need to learn to do the will of the people and hold his feet to the fire, until they burn to a crisp if need be. Ultimately though, I think that we, the people, need to begin a grassroots effort to add an amendment to the Constitution which allows the direct recall of the president and/or vice-president solely by popular vote. If governors can be recalled, then presidents and vice-presidents should be no exception. We know for a certainty that an administration run amok can do far worse damage to the nation than any governor. And, since we cannot really trust our Congressmen and Senators to do what's right by ordinary Americans because most of them are in the pocket of Big Business, who usually have a vested interest in maintaining the status quo, we need another avenue to removal of the president.

Of course the President has to follow the law, most laws. The Executive Branch is immune to certain laws.

With time, it does appear that Bush might believe he's immune to more laws than we traditionally believe. But don't believe he's breaking the law solely because the far left is screaming about it. If it's true, it's true. But there has to be actual fact, not cuz Kos said so. And if there is fact, you can believe that Pelosi and Reid will act upon it. They'd love to impeach him if they can get anything on him.

The president is not a dictator neither is he above the law, although many republicans think he is.

This was the very reason nixon resigned in disgrace, but lame duck bush doesn't have half the sense of a crook like nixon.

he's above the regulation ultimate now through fact no one has the gutts to take him on. Why, through fact in the event that they take him on, they could cope with cranium and Bones. to examine why each president for the final a hundred and twenty years has been a cranium and bones member watch the loose GOOGLE VIDEO's: "Freedom to Fascism" "the line to Tyranny" "9/11 Revisited" "loose replace" "Terrorstorm" "darkish secrets and techniques: interior the Bohemian Grove" -And to respond to the question of Scully cj once you asked "What regulation did he brake?" The Bush administration is in charge for the assaults on the WTC on 9/11/01, the conflict on Iraq, and different crimes against humanity.... watch the video's above and locate your evidence... and, with the aid of the way, i'm deffinately no longer asserting that Clinton is harmless... to you zombie's there is largely liberal or conservative... yet in reallity there is largely fact and lie... Clinton is only as responsible as Bush... watch the video's, they'll replace your existence.
