Sentenced 45 days, Paris only now gets to serve 27 days for "good behavior" and "jail overcrowding"???? And you want to know something??? YOU PEOPLE are gonna let this injustice happen because YOU PEOPLE don't get up and raise some LOUD HELL fast, demanding Paris be transferred to another jail to do the REMAINDER of her 45 day jail stint!!!
No....let apathy win. Better yet: show the world how a BILLIONAIRESS' fortune CAN BUY FREEDOM from comitting a crime. Teach our childeren the NEW MORALITY that MONEY BUYS ONES WAY OUT OF TROUBLE.
Yeah....great lessons to teach our innocent children.
I'd rather sleep out on the street than check in a Hilton hotel.

She should have went to jail the first time. Just because she is rich and famous, she gets special treatment. If plain Joe or Jane done what she did, the book would have been thrown at us and nobody else in the world would have known less of it. She is rich and famous, so that makes her special? ********. She is only famous because she got laid on video and had the last name Hilton. If she fell off a bridge tomorrow, would the world be a lesser place to live. I don't think so.

I am no fan of Paris by any means and I believe she should be punished just like everyone else. But if the Sherrif was correct in saying that ordinary people that have commited the same crime are allowed house arrest as a punishment then I think she should have been treated exactly as the other people would have. Celebrities not being punished because of who they are is one thing. Celebrites being over punished/not being treated the same as jane doe is a whole nother issue.

you know what i don't want to be rude but why can't you people leave her alone? about a million people go to jail so what's so special about her going to jail?she made a mistake and every one does. I feel really bad for her because the media and press are making such a big deal about it. why can't we just leave it alone? i mean it's her own PERSONAL life. oh yeah but she does deserve to go to jail because she is a regular person(except the fact that famous) and a crime is a crime. and I'm not just saying this because I'm her #1 eleven year old fan. She was convicted of DUI and given a suspended sentence. They also suspended her license. She was caught driving and was given a warning that she could not drive without a license. She even signed a paper acknowledging that fact. She was caught driving again without a license and her suspended sentence was re-instated.
She deserved to go to jail for stupidity along with the DUI.

She broke the law, she does the time. If I did what she did, I would have the book thrown at me. Just because her parents are rich that is no reason she should get off. I'm sick of every time I turn on the news she's on.
