No. Your relationship with the temp agency is "at will". At most, your new employer will have to pay a discovery fee to the temp agency.

The Temp company gets a fee for placing you in the job regardless if the job would go permanent. If the job is good take it, you will have permanent employment and income. Best Wishes!

Hmmm I'm not sure what the answer is, but I would think thats between the company you work for and the employment agency. I see it as a position that opened up and you fulfill the requirements due to that you already know what your doing as far as responsibilities. Heck if you enjoy what you doing, why not go for it. Let the company worry about the employment agency.

this happened to me. if you get a job through the temp. agency, your job's contract is actually with the temp. agency and not you. typically contingent workers are contracted for X-amount for the company and then the company has the choice to extend your contract, offer you a regular job, or not.
if your job contracted you from a temp. and they like enough they can buy out your contract with the temp. agency...typically this is several thousand dollars (i think when my job bought out my temp. contract they had to pay 5000 for me.) and temp. agencies are happy when jobs go permanent, it just means more money for the recruiter upfront than the %they usually take out of your check. (it's also good PR for them since if they supply a company with good workers, the company will be more likely to go to them for future workers)

It all depends on the agreement you signed with the temp agency. Typically, such agreement includes a statement that prohibits such actions. You need to check with them before you accept it.

They will get their fee anyway. The company hiring you probably signed a "rental" contract for you which states they pay the fee if they hire you.
I hope no one is asking you to pay the fee. That would not be right.

Do what you want, they've already been paid for sending you to the temp job.
