When it comes to class, coolness and down right bad-a$s mascots, the University of Georgia's UGA is the best. He tried to bite an Auburn player in the crotch a few years back, going airborne and nearly taking the guy's sack off. He sits on bags of ice when it is hot, barks on cue for the cameras and lets kids get their picture with him whenever. He has been in movies, voted the tops by Sports Illusrated several times and is just downright cool.

NO contest! Delta State University Fighting Okra! This is not the official mascot (Statesman is official) but it is definately the more popular one. Like Auburn has the war eagle along with the tiger. Delta State has the Fighting Okra!

Florida State Seminoles.
An actual person instead of some cartoon or animal. And one of the last chances, because of political correctness, that an average American has to actually see an Indian (or historically accurate portrayal of an Indian).
A person, Indian or not, charging across the field on a horse is way cooler than a buffalo or a bull or dog charging across the field.

Ralphie the Buffalo who does a run around the field prior to kickoff to scare the daylights out of the opposing sideline for the University of Colorado. The sideline mascot, "Chip" is cool too.

I'm an Alabama fan, but I LOVE UGA at Georgia. I mean, he gets his own doghouse, a front-row seat to an SEC football game, and a bag of ice to sit on to cool off on a warm, fall day. Now, that is greatness.
And he tried to bite the AU player a few years back. He gets bonus points for that :)

Gunston the big green thing for George Mason University. He even has his own myspace and is part of the national league of monsters or something like that but he is so cool.

uga from georgia was voted best mascot ever and was on the cover of SI. and ralphe is not scary but we did get a scare from colorado last year
