I will be 37weeks pregnant should I take a 3 day road trip that is 2 1/2 hours away from my hospital and Doctor?

NO. That is the absolute worst time to go on a road trip!
Be safe, not sorry. You do NOT want to go in to labor on the road, that's risking your life and your baby's.
37 weeks = approximately 9 months. Precisely how long a normal pregnancy lasts.

I would stay home....imagine, if you will, having the worst stomach ache you've ever had on the road, and multiply it by a million....that's how it will feel if you go into labor in transit. And although I don't know if you're interested in using an epidural during labor, if you go into labor on the road and even if you DO get to a hospital before your baby is born, it may be too late to give you an epidural and you'll have to deliver natural....scary thought...at least for me!

What does your doctor think about you taking a trip right now? If he/she says it's a bad idea, then I would suggest you stay at home!
