PDA is basically a mini handheld computer with small hard drive. So, it can do anything within the power and memory limit, as long as someone writes the program.

Popular use of PDA are:
* Calender - for scheduling as well as reminder
* Contact/address book
* Memo/digital note pad - for short notes

* Calculator - from the simple one that came with the PDA or fancy ones for all sort of calculations
* Phone - some has phone feature (like Treo)

* Digital music and video players - you can load music and short clipc of movies onto your PDA
* Digital book - there are plenty of books in digital form for you PDA

* Web browser - with Bluetooth and Wi-Fi technology, you can hook up to local network and surf net with your PDA - in a limited format
