Heres what will happen: The jaguar will strike the hyena on the back. The hyena will whimper loudly. Then the hyena will strike back with a bite on the jaguar's back left leg. The jaguar will hiss and then turn around with a roundhouse kick to the hyena's head. The hyena will fall to the ground then get the jaguar back with a karate chop. The jaguar will screech and start to run a little ways forward. He will turn around and just as he is about to charge the hyena......2 gun shots will be heard and both will be lying on the ground, dead. The mafia member will then drive away in his big, black limo, as if it never happened, cleaning his pistol as he relaxes on the nice leather seats. It's SO predictable!

There wont be a fight between the jaguar and the pitbull....the jaguar will be dead.

Jaguar Vs Hyena

First of all a cougar will kill a pitbull. A jaguar has no problem killing a pitbull. Depends of the species of hyena. The strongest is the spotted hyena. The jaguar is stronger in built than the leopard and like the leopard it does have claws to its advantage, so I would say a jaguar will overpower a hyena. Even if the hyena does have stronger jaws, the jaguar can pierce the skull of a hyena, since its the only cat that kills with a bite to the skull.

Neither question is fair.........a cat of similar size as any canine will win. They are more agile, faster, and their claws are formidable weapons. All canines tend to hunt in packs, like wolves, and hyenas. Their strength is in numbers and their tactical intelligence. So basically, one on one, the hyena would not stand a chance, but as a pack, even three or four, maybe even two hyenas, could kill a jaguar.........Provided they could catch it once it (the Jaguar) realized it was out-matched.

I think that answers both scenarios!!!!!!

The jag would win both fights. To start jags are EXTREMELY aggressive cats. Though the bite strength of the hyena is one of the strongest in the animal kingdom (can bite through bone) the jag has on its size teeth as well as front and hind claws. On top of that jags move far swifter than a hyena or pit. They are also able to climb trees to get away or move to a better attacking point.

The hyena or pit would be able to dish out a good deal of damage, but in a fight to the death the jag would win.

Id assume the jaguar would win with a hyena, however a pitbull shouldnt be anywhere near any wildlife.. Pitbull would prob win as hes small and strong and would go straight for jugular. I try not to visualise animals killing each other and find your curiousness quite sadistic and a little offensive.
