1. David Carr
#1 draft pick of the texans who has not produced a winnning season in all of the teams short history and has lead the lead in getting sacked nearly every year.

2. Terrell Owens
A physical specimen of a reciever and a hard worker, but also so big of a distraction that some think he'll never be able to maintain team chemistry.

3. Michael Vick
A great athlete with reciever speed and a cannon arm, but is short, somewhat inaacurate, and has a line and recieving corp that underacheive in the passing game.

4. Randy Moss
Once the unquestioned best reciever in the league has experience a huge dropoff in Oakland, and some say his passion for the game can't be revived even with the Patriots.

5. Mario Williams
The Texans selected him over Bush and Young, yet he only recorded 4 sacks in his first season, which some use as justification for calling him a bust already.

1.David Carr is a great quarterback that has had no help, whatsoever. In Houston he had no line, and Ander Johnson was his only target, next to Owen Daniels and Eric Moulds. Now that Carr is with the Panthers, he will have an improved o-line, and many weapons to choose from, only problem is that he is backup for Jake Delhomme.

2.Terrell Owens, i see no future besides a further argument with Wade Phillips and an exit out of Dallas in two years. Owens doesnt belong with a team in the NFL, he belongs with a team in Mark Cubans, UFL. He has no future.

3.Michael Vick- He can turn his career around right now if he wants, but doesnt choose to. He wants to be a pain in the a** to his teammates and coaching staff, and cant stay focused long enough to focus. (does that make sense?)

4. Randy Moss can develop a winning attitude, really quick if he just listens to Brady and the rest of his team. New England is no Oakland, and he will have to straighten up his ways or he will be finding himself in the free agent market. Although i think he will succeed in New England, things can take a turn for the worst.

5.Mario Williams- A misunderstood, overdrafted defensive lineman. He was looked at totally wrong by the Texans, and they mistakingly took him #1. Another mistake by that organization. Mario Williams will prove himself eventually, but he is in a bad situation. For one, his division, he is in a division with the Super Bowl champions, a team that has a very underrated runningback in Maurice Jones-Drew, and a team with a very talented quarterback. Now all that makes for a ride through hell, especially if you are a young NFL player with one year of experience. Give the man time, and i see an eventual Pro Bowl season.

1. Definitely undeserved. He has never had anywhere near a good offensive line and he still lead the NFL in completion percentage last year. Give this guy an o-line and an oppurtunity.

2. He deserves the criticism. He is a great player but he brings all this negativity on himself. I wish he would just shut up and play because he could be amazing.

3. He is still not an established NFL thrower and that is because he should have never been an NFL QB. I think it is undeserved because scouts should have seen these flaws in the beginning and changed his position. Now if he is charged with this dog fighting, than he deserves what he gets.

4. Definitely deserved. Just like TO, he brought all of this on himself. He could easily dominate the leauge but he quit.

5. This is ridiculous. He has played one season and people are already all over this guy. He played through an injured foot which can kill a DE. Let's give him some time to learn the NFL then we can see if he deserves some criticism.

1- I have always beleived Carr has the potential to be an All-Pro QB and just needed an actual NFL line in front of him instead of a JV team

2. He may be a problem to team chemistry but Owens does one thing most star receivers dont..he blocks downfield in the running game...he may not be the easiest guy to get along with but he sells out for the team and thats the kind of guy i want on my field...remember he did play the superbowl on a broken leg and still have a 100 yd game if i remember correctly

3. Needs to learn to pass first and run second...until then and the time when he learns to make better decisions on and off the field...the criticism is deserved

4. Never really liked him, he was never the unquestioned best receiver in the game, always ran poor routes and never blocked...the only thing he was unquestionably was was the best deep threat in the league and maybe the softest hands and hes just as much of an attitude problem as owens and gives so much less effort on the field

5. You cant call a guy a bust in his first year....maybe he shouldnt have been the #1 pick but he probably deserved top 5 and he could still be great in the years to come

so i guess id say

1-undeserved
2-undeserved
3-deserved untill he changes
4-deserved from now untill the end of time
5-not deserved just yet

1. Justine Henin (ranked #2) 2. Marat Safin (ranked #32) 3. Elena Dementieva (ranked #7) 4. Mario Ancic (ranked #80) 5. Nicole Vaidisova (ranked #400) When Justine came out of retirement she performed really well. She didn't win a Major but she did get to the Finals of the Australian Open and made a return back to the Top 10. Only reason why she retired was because of injury. Safin is still good. He was outside the Top 75 for a while but he started playing well again and found himself in the Top 40, which is very respectable. He's also a Major champ so that helps his resume. Elena Dementieva had many many many chances to win a Major, never capitalized. That's why I have her here. While she was a Top 10 player for what seemed like forever, she could never be the last one standing holding a Major trophy. Mario Ancic's career was plagued by injuries. I don't have much to say about him except that he was talented. Nicole Vaidisova is in the bottom because she was basically over before she retired. I mean she couldn't win a qualifier match against the #300 player in the world. No way does she even come close to Ancic, let alone Henin. @OIN - Yes I do. She was outside the Top 200 a long time ago. Her time passed. She lost to qualifiers and challengers, so that makes her challenger material EDIT - Dinara Safina did retire. She had a back injury that was career-ending. @OIN - I still have Nicole at 400 lol. She peaked way too early. You can say Nicole was a bit ahead of the current generation when it comes to peaking and disappearing. EDIT - If Dinara Safina was still playing totally healthy I'd have her at #1 in the world with a minimum of 3 Majors. I really wish she didn't get injured

#1 David Carr's criticism is deserved because he isn't a good quarterback, he didn't perform at the level a starting quarterback should. It's not like he was alone on the offense, he had Andre Johnson, and yet had a mediocre season.

#2 Terrel Owens deserves all the criticism he gets and more, he brings it upon himself, he's practically asking for criticism. Dropping catches and being a pain in the *** isn't helping him.

#3 Micheal Vick is just straight out stupid, he makes tons of money a year and yet he wants to throw it all away by conducting dogfights and plenty of other stupidities.

#4 I think people are too hard on Randy Moss, he is a great football player and I think he will have an outstanding season with the Patriots. People say he lost his passion for the game in Oakland, but the only reason he didn't try was because he knew it was all for nothing because at the end of the day he was going to lose.

#5 Sorry, but I don't know anything about Mario Williams.

Carr will compete for Delhommes job in Carolina. If he had a good or even ok O-line in Houston he would be a star already. I would have loved to see him come to Green Bay as Favre's eventual replacement.

Owens is an outstanding athlete and an amazing reciever. However, he always seems to find a way to ignite a controversy with someone on his team.

Vick is a great athlete playing qb in the NFL. He has the cannon arm but no accuracy and that is extremely important in the NFL. Tom Brady's arm isn't nearly as strong as Vicks but he is a lot more accurate and he throws for 4000 plus yards each year.

Moss will do just fine in NE. Forget what happened in Oakland. Think early years in Minnesota.

No sense in calling Williams a bust yet. Give him a few seasons before you even begin to call him a bust. Michael Strahan didn't exactly set the world on fire in his first full season and he holds the NFL record for sacks in a season.

David Carr doesn't deserve ne criticism. He has led the league in gettin sacked ever since hes been there because there is no offensive line. He has no weapons with the exception of Andre Johnson.

2. Yes everyone sees what he does to every team he goes to. He is a distraction, he doesn't care about ne one else. He also has a habit of dropping to many easy passes.

3. Vick does deserve criticism. Has no o-line??? Thats why everyone year vick gets close to or gets 1,000 yds rushing and the Falcons are the leading rushing team. He can't throw to any one but Alge Crumpler bc hes like 6"5 262 or something crazy like that

4. Moss is somewhat like T.O. but its not is fault Oakland sucks. When u have no offensive line no QB a medicore RB ur not gonna get very far, and this is the same story here.

5. Williams doesn't deserve ne criticism, bc 1st of all he didn't choose to be chosen over reggie bush. and 2nd its alot easier to come in as a RB and learn the offense and compete if u have a good O-Line and QB like Bush does. WIlliams has to play one of the hardest postions in football and it will take him some time but he will be good.

i think all of the answers are the same no they are not deserved

1-if carr gets a good o-line he will be awsome
2-a lot of teamates say to is a great teammate so it is just the public and a few qbs lets be honest if bret frave was on the eagles he would had won that super bowel
3-vick is a specal player that needs a coach that can work a playbook around vick and with one more good wideout he will be awsome
4-moss had a bad year because the raiders had a bad qb in brooks and a bad o-line so no one could get him the ball wacth what he does with a qb
5-mario is a good player but not a great player he got picked #1 because bush was greedy and wanted a lot of money but he will be ok not a hall of famer but ok

1.Its not all Carrs fault. He cant block for himself, play defense, or play running back too. Carr and Andre Johnson had a good connection, but they didnt have enough weapons. I think carr will be very good if he Delhomme gets hurt and cant play.
2.Owens has the mentallity of a 4 year old. Me me me, mine mine mine. He dont care about anything or anyone but TO.
3.To me, Vick is the most overrated player in the history of football. As an athlete hes awesome, but as a football player he garbage.
4.I blame the Raiders for the downfall of Moss. He is still one of the top 5 to 10 players in the NFL, and now he'll prove it that hes on a real team.
5.The Texans were putting too much into Dominic Davis, or whatever his name is now. And they did need help on D. But still, passing on Bush was borderline retarted.
