I want to buy a laptop for business and I wanted to choose something between HP and Lenovo. After lot of searching luckily I got these two into consideration.
1) Lenovo 3000 N100 (not a Thinkpad)

2) http://www.cdw.com/shop/products/default.aspx?EDC=1186661
you can see it here also

Both are almost same just that Lenovo has core 2 duo while HP has AMD Turion X2, and Lenovo is $70 more.
Please tell me your opinion.
Thank you

Int he long run, the HP will have better support if you have a software problem, and they are ALOT cheaper to repair than the Lenovos' . . . The Lenovos' are EXTREMELY hard to get internal parts for, thus making the repairs very expensive. . . HP, well, is HP, and will still be around in two or three years if your laptop gives you a problem you'll be able to get parts and support . . .

Good Luck!

Good choices, but what you really have to consider is what you will be doing. Sure you can get all the bells and loud noises, but do you need them. No.
Believe me when I say that a high-end system make no performance boosts if you only want to do spreedsheets, docs, email, or chat.
A 100 gig HD is no better than a 40 if you aren't going to do the maintenance. Yes you have to do the maintenance. If it's for music you keep it on a jump or stick drive.
I've bought many laptop & desktop systems, but have made sure that all the junk is left off.
My purchase site is http://undcom.com/index.php. This is where I get systems for any of my friends & family.
My choice is an IBM Lenovo 3000 C200 Laptop
Celeron M 2.8GHz/15" XGA TFT (1024x768)/Intel 950/512 Meg RAM/80.0 Gig Serial ATA 7200rpm HDD/DVD-RW Multi Burner/Internal. Have Fun

Get the lenovo. The advantage is its dual core processor. It's the perfect choice for business.

well neither have dedicated graphics but i do not think u would care in a business environment. i would go with the lenovo casue it has the better core 2 duo. lenovo's are not very big company in the US, but in asia the company is huge.

HP's are amazing computers! My Sister just go one and its top of the line for schooling etc. And you should also make sure you have a long warranty. Because a lot of problems occur with computers and if you have a warranty it won't be a hassel to get it fixed.
Goood Luck!
I hope you enjoy it when you get it.
I have one, and I carry it everywhere! ENJOY! :)
