No, that would be too small and they'd constantly pick on each other.
Females are somewhat aggressive, though not as much so as the males. They'll establish a pecking order among themselves, and as long as each one gets enough space, they should get along (there are some females that won't get along and will have to be kept alone). It's never a good idea to keep just two though. Three would be the minimum (no smaller than a 5 gallon tank, and add all at one time), five (in a 10 gallon tank) would be even better.
Provide them with lots of plants so they could get away from each other, if they start to get picked on so they can get away from the "bully".

No you can't...it's not even a maybe. A gallon is barely enough for one betta, let alone two. Furthermore, female bettas need to be kept in much larger groups - it's called the diffusion of aggression. If there are only two of them, they will constantly pick on each other but if there are say, five of them, they will be able to establish a pecking order within the tank and live fairly peacefully.
I'd recommend a 15 gallon tank and at least five female bettas. You'd also need the tank to be heavily planted with plenty of hidey holes so they can get their space.

No that is barely enough room for just one fish. Betta's (females) need to be housed in groups of 3 or more to establish a pecking order. If you want females invest in a 10 gallon tank with filter and a heater. Betta's are tropical fish and need water that is between 78-82 F.
Edit* DO NOT listen to shortcake! She is the clueless one! You must clean a gallon bowl out every other day. The fish are swimming in their own waste. I don't think she swims in her toilet, but she doesn't mind if her fish do??

No. Female bettas need AT LEAST one gallon each. And, if you want to keep multiples together you need at bare minimum five or six so they school. If there are just two they will fight, even if they seem to get along sometimes. Get a 10 gallon, and you can pick out six gorgeous varied colors. Plus, for $29 you will have a filter too. The vases and bowls, even if you clean them every other day, smell and are just gross and nasty to take care of.

LOL...not at you, but at how little people know about Betta's! They are a labyrinth breed. As it means...they go to the surface and get a bubble of air and drop and use it to breath...they do release it through their gills. So the rule of water to tank don't apply to Betta's. But do give them some water to move around in and YES female don't fight each other as the males do. You could put ten females together and they would be fine. Don't add males...we tried and had four females die and one male...and we tried different combinations. Do make sure they can get air at the surface. They don't need cleaned more than once a week and can even go up to three weeks without cleaning all the time. Don't feed them to much...a grain a day. Betta's can live up to nine years. Yes you can remove them from the bowl and back without harming them as long as you keep the water close to the same temp.

NO, you need a MUCH bigger tank, lots of plants and hidey's, and more females for them to establish a pecking order. Even then, you can get some females that are just too aggressive, and will need to be removed anyway.
My suggestion is a ten gallon tank and four or five females, as a minimum.
Be aware, it's still sketchy, and you might be better off putting a female with non-betta's.

i would say no
one inch of fish per gallon
if not you can overcrowd but they might fight or
the water might become toxic with all the extra ammonia
and it not that expensive or a five gal
maybe 15 dollars to 25

hmmm... maybe, but I wouldn't recommend it. That size bowl isn't big enough for two females, and they might bicker.

Yes, but they MIGHT fight; the tank is little small for them to actually swim around.
