It sounds like you are having I/O conflicts on your computer
Go to Start, run and type in dxdiag. Go to the display tab and find out which one your computer is using as the display driver.
If the 9250 is an on board graphics card and the 9600 is an AGP card, you may need to disable the one on board card in cmoss and use the right apeture 4, 8, or 16X setting as well. If you are using one on the AGP slot and one in a PCI slot you will need to set a static port for the one in the PCI slot so that you can use both of them and there is no conflict.
You can also go here: http://ati.amd.com/support/driver.html and download the latest drivers for your 2 cards.

Make sure your system requirements match the game specs ! If it does, then I'd go to the site of the games you're having trouble with and check their support and/or forums/
