I am just some guy who came from a small town in Illinois back in 1962 and I must tell you, I have seen and heard this word used from time-to-time and I was just wondering if someone could define it for me.

Everywhere I've heard the term used it is referring to some article(s) of clothing that shine, for example, gold, diamonds, etc. It can refer to rings, earrings, necklaces, and non-jewelry items such as car rims and such things.

diamond, jewlry, watches, shiny jewlry basicly. bling bling was the name of a rap song in 1999 by rapper juvenile and hot boys. ( which are still quite hot) America has just adopted the word to discribe the essence of a diamond shining. So my good frind if youre wearing a diamond than your blinging, okay?

Bling is fancy kind of stuff like diamonds, jewelry type of stuff. Its a word that alot of people use to describe the stuff they where like necklaces and jewelry like I said.

Bling means to me when you got alot off jewel and its very,expensive alot off diamonds and other sets some are big and little like necklaces,watches and rings.

bling is diamonds worn on ur wrist, neck, ears, fingers, teth,ect. Jewlery to be exact but usually it's diamonds set in platinum, white gold, or silver.
