I wasn't surprised at all. I just feel horrible for her family and son. Just imagine what that 2 year old must be going through after watching his mother struggle and possibly seeing her killed. I sincerely hope it doesn't get as much media as the Peterson murder. That was a bit overwhelming. This man, if found guilty, is a murderer, regardless of race or profession, just a cold blooded murderer. Let him be punished, if guilty, for his crime and let the victim's family grieve in peace.

The news coverage I think isn't being so out there as the Scott Peterson saga, isn't because Mr. Cutts is Black, as you put it, it is because the Scott Peterson story had an "Amber Frye" in it....had a woman who was legally represented by a well known attorney, because of the nature of Ms. Frye's testimony, and involvement was crucial to convict Mr. Peterson....
The media was not involved in the investigation so strongly in the Cutts investigation, because they didn't want to disclose any information that could screw up their investigation, IF Mr. Cutts didn't do it, AND to give the 2yr old a "normal" environment, so not to coax him into false memories by adults asking this toddler tons of questions, they wanted him to "say stuff" on his own....Think all the people behind the investigation did the right thing this time, and the media coverage is adequate for this particular case details. Mr. Cutts's "other woman" to my knowledge hasn't been put in the foreground like Ms. Frye was, spilling all she knew/knows.....that is just what I think.....
I would also like to say on a personal note, I wasn't surprised they arrested the boyfriend, Cop or not.......
I was sure HOPING she wasn't dead......and the baby girl, how disgusting of a person he must be (if proven he did it), to have done something like that.....absolutely disgusting!!!!!

From day one I think most of us knew it was Cutts. The coverage has been just fine, give enough information to find the body, don't let to much out to hurt the chances of a fair trial. When it goes to trial it will get the same coverage as the rest of them. Please don't bring race into this, white or black or yellow or green, it is not whats important. He is a sick & twisted man, that we know for sure. How many of you have heard of the woman who was also 9 months pregnant and was slashed to death while delivering the morning newspapers? Her husband was at home with their other 2 children at the time. Not so much coverage of this crime, happened just last week.

I think it is getting the same coverage. Scott Peterson's trial got a lot of coverage but we don't know the same won't happen with this trial (if there is one).
No, I was not surprised at all that he was arrested. I think he may have been considered a "suspect" a lot sooner if he was not a police officer.

Not surprised at all. Wasn't surprised they arrested that guy that was shot in the leg, while his three kids and wife were dead, either. Excluding a retail robbery, a woman's murder always has the husband, ex husband, boyfriend as prime suspects. I'm a divorced male, but I realize that historically that is where police need to investigate first. More often than not, that's where you'll find the culprit.

It's not getting the coverage because the police are smart in that they are releasing very little information to the media. They have not even released where the body was found in order to keep the stupid media types away from the scene so they can do their job processing it without worrying about it being destroyed by reporters and photographers. This is no different than any other domestic violence murder in Anywhere, USA and does not necessarily deserve any extra or special nationwide media attention.

I was not surprised at all, just heartbroken for her mother and her young son. I suspected it was him since the little boy was not harmed in any way. Also, Bobby Cutts had a shady police record- assault I think. He also has three (with a fourth on the way) with three different women! At least now he won't be able to reproduce anymore!! He really is scum of the earth!

They ALWAYS say their suspect isn't a suspect, but a "person of interest" or whatever. It's all the same. And no, I'm not surprised. There are plenty of cops capable of committing 1st degree murder.
Also, you have to give this story time to be as big as the Scott Peterson case.

Yes I have always thought from the start that he was or should be a suspect! It does remind me of Scott Peterson, I'm so glad that it has not taken so long to get this guy though! I just feel so sad for this family, and above all this little boy!

Oh, this case has got coverage all day, everyday since June 15 when the mother found Jessie missing!! I live in the area where this has taken place. I am not surprised Bobby was arrested since he confessed & told the authorities where the body of Jessie could be found!!!! He knew they were closing in!!!
