Do you like horror movies with lots of gore, or do you prefer the ones that require thinking?

the ones that require thinking. that arent like jump at you scary but like creepy and it builds up until the end where something wierd happens and your left speechless. the gory ones are stupid like saw and hostel. its getting out of hand. its like people pay money to watch someone get torchored

Gore is funny, but I prefer the ones that require thinking, because then it isn't such a waste of time..even though the funny gore could be a great ab workout from all that laughing...haha just kidding. I'm not much of a horror movie person..I like comedy. But if I had to choose a horror movie, it'd have to require thinking.

Too much gore can be sick. I do enjoy horror movies, but usually the ones that make you jump. And I love movies that make you think.

To me, gore is a cheap excuse for a thrill. Suspenseful horror that involves thinking is much better.

I like thinking; Blue velvet, The Caine Mutiny, Magic, 1984, 300, ... Films that include a truly friegtening element.

I dont really like them all that much just learning from others mistakes yet I am attracted to pychological horror movies like the shining and sometimes movies that scare the bajesus outta me like the decent and event horrizon

I perfer funny movies. Last time i saw a horror movie i freaked out. (hills have eyes) I cryed and screamed cuz it was sooo bad. but my friends seem to think that its funny? lol

definitely the ones that require thinking, especially if I dont figure out the ending, cuz I usually do.
