who hates MCR P!ATD OR FOB?

I DONT I LOVE THEM ALL BUT I HAVE HEARD ALOT OF PPL HAVE I JUST WANTED TO KNO Y U HATE THEM?

I love all three of those.
Yeah, everybody thinks My Chemical Romance is all, "Slit my wrists and drown. Let me die alone," but they haven't really been like that since IBYMBYBMYL, and that was only Headfirst For Halos. Great song, by the way. And even that wasn't all super-morbid and descriptive of death, and it was said jack about cutting yourself. The closest thing about cutting with MCR is Cemetary Drive, when Gerard sings, "Singing songs that make you slit your wrists/It isn't that much fun/Staring down a loaded gun."
I can really relate to My Chemical Romance's lyrics, especially I'm Not Okay (I Promise), and that song saved my life in a very literal way.
Also, I love Panic! At The Disco. They're all flashy and stuff, they're not really the stuff to listen to when you feel crappy and curling up and dying, but they're definitely fun to sing to and have amazing lyrics and music.
Fall Out Boy is also really good. Their first CD was incredible in the terms of, they weren't so popular they were doing what people wanted. Their second was very interesting because they were really developing then, and their newest CD is great because of a lot of the metaphors and similes ("I'm just a painter and I'm drawing a blank," "You're a canary/I'm a coalmine," etc.) and they were doing some very interesting things musically.

I don't hate them. I really like MCR a lot but I liked their older songs better than the ones in The Black Parade, even if i still like the new ones too. MCR is my favorite bands out of these ones. I like FOB. I like most of their songs. I'm not such a big fan of P!ATD but they have some songs that are cool. I guess they are ok.

I agree with Metallicarocks772 and Jackie. People just listen to those winy, crappy bands because they're "in". I personally hate those bands. Note that a lot of those girl at the beginning of this topic say. "OMG, people who hate those bands are idiots! I love MCR, P!ATD and FOB becuase they're HOT!!" What's the point of you bringing up that you think they're hot? Does that make those bands good?! NO! People who like bands because of how they look are really sad. I hate those bands because they're whiny, they're not talented, all of their songs sound the same and people like them becuase of their looks. By the way, none of those guys are good looking!

MCR isn't all too bad...haters really should listen to their recent album in it's entirety...it's more like a dark work of art. I look forward to seeing what they can do in the future once the emo era fades out.

Fall Out BOy is pretty much attention whores...they aren't bad, but they definitely aren't the greatest band in the world like many says. They are way to poppy, and I freaking hate Pete Wentz...hell, a uninformed person may think that Pete is the lead singer.

And Panic!...they absolutely suck...they've tried to cover Karma Police and Tonight Tonight (you should know who sings those 2 songs), and they stunk pretty bad. Songs are even more lyrically bad than FOB...long title names /= quality music. Who knows what Panic! did before going big.

And while we're at it, how bout The All-American Rejects...they would fit in the middle, maybe better than FOB. However, many of their fans do not believe they're part of the emo scene.


However, nothing can come close to the atrocity of the band Hinder, which has brought nothing new to rock.

And i hate those little retards that listen to bands because they are "lyk soo totally hawt" what they look like has nothing to do with the music. Sheesh.

People mostly hate them because they are classified as "emos" which some people hate. Also some of the fans of those bands are annoying as hell which makes them hate the band. People claim those bands "are lyk the best band in the world" which isn't true. I loooove MCR, the lyrics are great and everything but how can you compare Ray Toro (MCR) to Slash (Guns N Roses)? Slash is awesome... Those bands are genreally what's "in" and some people don't listen to whats in to seem much more hardcore.. and Stupid teenyboppers classify MCR as PUNK! WTF?!? How the hell are they punk.. Man those poseurs disgust me. Oh yeah and then there are those annoying people that are like "you have no taste in music.. How dare you insult FOB *sniffle sniffle*" Seriously.... God.

I HATE fob because the main singer's voice annoys the hell out of me. He sounds whiny to me. And what they sing about is just pointless...

Okay now for P!ATD... The Brandon Yurie kid sounds like a squeaky pipe.. I swear his voice cracks which makes me laugh. And P!ATD is just Fall Out Boy With a different band name.. Which has led me to despise them.


I don't listen to MCR because they are in... I'm mad that they are in.. I Liked it better when they weren't all popular.. not that there is anything wrong with that.... Its just those annoying little teenyboppers that only like MCR to seem "emo" or to be "different" and because they just want to seem all hardcore by listening to them. MCR isn't hardcore... But anyways.. people think MCR P!ATD and FOB are hardcore because they scream once or twice (im not sure about P!ATD or FOB though) and screaming doesn't make you hardcore..

You want to know why people don't like them?

1) All fans of these bands will say that they are the best band ever, or that they are metal (I've heard that before, at first I thought they were being sarcastic) When the fans have never even listened to some real rock/metal.

2)I saw the video for thanks for the memories by fob on vh1, and they wear eyeliner....

3)Fans will say "omg their lyrics are like, so deep and moving." Their lyrics suck !!!

4)Some people listen to them to be punk, and that is the most pathetic thing I have ever heard. Listen to some rancid, or nofx or something...

5)People who really know music know that people are listening to these bands just because they are popular, but in 5 years, who will remember them?

becasue they all copy off each other, they all sound the same, they dont know how to play their insturments, they are trying key word "trying" to make rock supposivly more "safe" i guess by not alowing mosh pits, no drinking. God dammnit its like dude come on, they are ruing music, wait they already have they are ruining the show itself by not alowing violence in i mean dude its part of the concert, concerts arnt known for pussssy guys running around on stage whyning about how they cant "take life anymore" they call themselves "punk" but umm dude thats not punk its just pop. I dont think they even write their own songs. Its just not original. hence: its horriable and should just end now so real REAL metal and rock can continue on.

I personally don't like them that much, not because they suck, but just because I don't like the genre that much. Out of the alternative rock genre, I would have to say AFI is the only band worth hearing. But MCR and P!ATD are pretty close to decent. And I just don't like pop, so there goes FOB.

Mcr, Fob, and Patd are three of my all time fav bands. So...I would listen to all three because they are all awesome bands that make awesome music!!
