Eddie, I'm so sorry this happened. This is not a fun thing to go through. I don't think you get over a broken heart. You eventually heal, but the relationship changes who you are and believe it or not this can be a good thing. Instead of trying to get over it, try looking at it in the most positive way possible. What did you learn from her? What did you teach her? What did you experience in this relationship that you might want with someone else? When you're ready to try again, what will you bring to a new relationship? This might help you begin to stop hanging on to a past that's unfortunately gone and allow yourself to look forward again.

I am going throw the same thing. Its been 7 months and my heart is still breaking. What keeps me going is doing what I have to do. Helping other people feel good. And having the memories of me and him help me keep going. Because I know one day things will be better. God has the last word in everything that happens. One day we might be together again. Or I will be with him in heaven. Because are love for each other will never end.

I know how you feel. I've had a broken heart for at least 2 years now[[since we broke up]] I hope everything is okay. I would say try not to think of her. Maybe move on?
Or possibly start a new hobbie! Poetry always seems to work for people i know. Who cares if its crap and doesn't make sense with no rhyming! At least your getting your feelings out. Maybe if you read poetry too it will help [[www.poems-and-quotes.com]] Thats a good website. You can get ideas from there too. [[i have some poems on there myself from having a broken heart]]. No one will make fun of your work.
Also, get out of the house! hang with some friends. They always help. Possibly start finding someone new. You may even find someone better.
hope everything works out!

Get a counselor, have close friends and family to surround you. Believe me I know. This is the best way to go.

Pray and get busy (work out, work more, date 20 different women for 20 different reasons, take a trip or two (visit family), etc.....
Good luck but just know that it worked for me ;)

Every decision is just 1 Neuron away from happening.
So set your mind to it and make it happen.
