13 is definitely not too young, but you do seem a bit naive. The kids on Disney channel have been taking acting, dancing & voice lessons since they were tiny tots. That doesn't mean it's too late for you, but you definitely have your work cut our for you. Get yourself into some classes and some local theatre productions. Build a resume and once you've done that, try to get a reputable agent.

If you want to find a legitimate agent to represent you for commercials, TV & film go to Sag.org. Use the dropdown menu on the right labeled 'resources' and choose 'agent information'. On the next screen, on the left choose 'Find a SAG franchised agent' and follow the directions. You can look up agents all over the US, but there are higher concentrations where the work is (Los Angeles, NY, IL, FL, GA etc.)

Then you can send them your headshot, resume, and a cover letter stating that you are seeking representation and wait to see if they call you in for an interview.

You do NOT pay up front to get an agent. Your costs involve photos, paper & postage (and of course your classes, etc.)... you do not pay for the agent.

Good luck!

You're 13 so your WHOLE life isn't very long. Why are you selling yourself so short for Disney?

First of all you need a legit agent and an established resume with headshots to book the audition.
So start working on getting experience and getting headshots before worrying about Disney.

Please don't take this offensively, but I think that auditioning for Disney channel is a bad idea. You're going to end being tied to that channel and pre-teens are going to be all over you. I personally think that you should practice your acting and singing, and then actually audition for bigger and better things. Disney channel is definitely not the top of the hill talent-wise.

I would caution you on setting your heart on such things- I myself hope to become part of the Broadway stage, but I know that the odds are not in my favor. Therefore, always have a back-up plan.
