I don't believe God wants us to be trapped in marriage. Marriage is meant to be a beautiful relationship that inspires growth, a lifelong partnership of encouragement, strength, love, etc. So to marry b/c someone is pregnant seems to go against the biblical idea of marriage. However, I honestly believe that God can turn any marriage around no matter what state it is in, but both people have to be willing to surrender themselves to the marriage and to God for it to work. I've heard of couples marrying b/c the woman got pregnant but there was no real love there. Over time with effort on both parts and prayer their marriages genuinely turned around. So yes, I think it's possible but both should be willing to work at it. Even counseling may be necessary if staying together and avoiding divorce is important to both involved.

Wow wait a minute. If he wants to be in good terms with God then he need not marry a woman he will eventually divorce. Things happen for a reason and God saw fit to give him a child but that does not mean he needs to marry her because of it. Me and my x did that and he cheated all the time. So that is why he is my x. We had to kids to gether. He is remarried and so am I. God understands we make mistakes and commit sin that is why he died for ours sins. He is a forgiving God.

God has this amazing ability to bless any marriage, no matter what state it's in. If they truly want it to work out- Gid can help them fall in love with eachother. Nothing is ever done, or final. Hope is not lost.

Also, even if he was pressured- he still made the decision on his own to marry. Grown up decisions have grown up consequences!

If a marriage is not based on true love, it might last but the people involved will be miserable. Nobody should ever be forced into getting married.

Off to a bad start. Marriage is nothing unless both of you mean it not matter the circumstances.
Best wishes.
