The connecting closets between my room and my brother's.
The attic which had the steps in my room so I would go up there a lot just to play or hide.
The built in hamper beside the washing machine...I liked to hide there.
The "little house" behind our house where I had a club.
The tulips that were everywhere because I kept winning coloring contests each year and that was the prize.
The tree I used to climb real fast and fell out of once and landed on my back and couldn't breath for awhile.
Mom's snowball tree that got dug up when we were building an addition for my grandparents to live in and then they changed their minds.
The incredibly long sliding hills in winter and the snowmobiles that pulled us back up.
The ping pong table in the basement that was a lot of fun.
etc, etc, etc.

They say you always remember the house where you grew up. I love it we live in a mobil home in a nice park. I have a lot of friends here. Everyone knows my dad.
It is 16 X 80 and we have 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms.
My dad works and pays the space rent but the house is ours.
We have a cat, a lot of nice neighbors who goes to the meetings with us. We grow flowers in pots, by the front of the house. Grandma says if Daddy doesn't fix the stairs one day someone is going to die by falling off them.
She is the only one who has a problem.
I have lavender and pink wall paper in my bedroom and a big pink throw pillow grandma made.

We had a big apple tree in the back yard that we'd climb in and hang upside down.
The backyard was big and expansive and perfect for playing football and catch.
Beyond that, we had a ravine. We'd ride our dirt bikes through that ravine and jump the hills when we got older.
We had tree forts and adventures galore back there.
The home was big, open, full of laughter, music, the piano, a study den, and a large bookcase full of literature and poetry that mom insisted I spend time reading and appreciating.
I couldn't be more thankful for the parents i had. and have.

I remember my mom & Dad would make a big garden, name it and we had it..It was so nice to see it grow and being able to go in there and pull a carrot or a cucumber and eat it from
our own garden......It was pure good food veggies. Even potatoes, we`d dig them out, it was the best...
We were so proud of our Mom & Dad., They were the best.....

My parents working outside in the yard with the radio in the window playing the baseball game. Also, nights outside around a fire just sitting and talking while neighbors would stop by to visit. Very peaceful.

Well there's a pond. Trees. Lot's of trees. Lots of landscaping in general. I'll stop now and admit that I'm still living at my childhood home, because as far as I know I'm still a child.

I remember always having to mow the grass.
I remember the way dirt taste in my mouth when I was riding a horse in our arena.
I remember the way our house was always clean,
I remember being embarressed by it because it wasn't as big as everyone elses. I wouldn't be embarrassed now.
My childhood home is where my dog Sarah and Baby were buried.
My childhood home is where my stepdad died. ;(
My childhood home is where my happiness lives

climbing the oak trees, my brother burrying the silverware so he could find treasure. Breaking the windows playing baseball. My sister getting glass in her foot that took many stitches. Santa Claus comming on Christmas eve and giving us presents. My dog nearly hanging himself jumping over an eight foot fence with a leash on, LOL, he was standing up on his tippy paws.
