To all those who think women, in general, have to work as hard as men, or even harder, you are completely ignorant and incapable of observing things as obvious as the nose on your face.

Men's work for one.
95% of job related fatalities happen to men.
94% of serious job related injuries, maimings, paralysis, etc happen to men.
Just to name a few.

How many women do you know who pay 50%, or more, of their own way when married ? I don't know even one.

How many men do you know that pay 50% ,or more, of their own way when married ? Every married guy I know !

Women supporting men for any extended period of time is RARE !

Men being supported by women are ridiculed and seen as pathetic losers.

On the other hand, women supported by men are seen as normal and usual.

Women have more choices in life because they have more options ! Being able to have a guy carry your weight financially means you have more choices and options.

Those of you who refuse to see the truth should go see a doctor about your severe case of cranial rectal impaction.

Ha your boss is an egotistical ***hole. We have to try harder since the general conception is that we are not as smart as the average man. When I was in the corporate world I had to try harder and did very well. I am now self employed and as long as I speak intelligently and like I know what I am talking about everything is good. Just b/c someone is female does not mean things are just handed to them on a silver platter.

I would hope not. I would hope that I have more motivation than sex. There are certainly things I do that have nothing to do with sex. I work in the garage, play video games, read a book, watch a movie and the whole time I'm only thinking about sex. Just kidding. Seriously the drive to mate in any animal is strong indeed. I would say it would not be limited to men. Women have a strong need to mate aswell. Somewhere in our bichemistry mating and sex are in the same wiring. So to satisfy the need to spreed the seed we boink our brains out.

Your boss is wrong outdated. Women are stronger How many of them rise a family by her own and also have a job and take care and educate her children? I think men fall back on a woman. Could they work as they do without a woman at home .who supports who?

Really, how absolutely insightful of your boss to make such a statement based only off of gross generalizations and without any facts or knowledge of what women and single women with children go through. Most of the women I know have had to work twice as hard to prove themselves and have gone through more emotionally and physically than most men I know. Of course I can always fall back on my man as he can fall back on me when he needs it.

Usually, it's attractive women that have an actually easier lives than anyone else, whether you're comparing their lives to unattractive women, attractive men, or unattractive men. If a woman isn't attractive, she'll have a slightly harder life than an unattractive man. But, attractive men are way more likely to have a hard life than attractive women.
This is just the way it is.

I don't want to sound cruel to you at all (because I'm not being that way) but your boss is an idiot. We actually have to try harder in European-influenced societies, such as the US, because those societies are male-dominated.

Old's comments are very European as well, if you want to use that as an example. We Cherokee aren't all into the "battle of the sexes" crap, and whoever did something well did it, whether it was going to war or raising the kids. I personally will never understand their foreign ways of viewing us women.

It really depends on the lady. Some women can crying their way out of a situation and some women show other people that they can do many wonderful things and not cry their way out. So some work hard to be respected and some just play "I'm a women" card.

That is absolutely not true. I am a man and I am saying this. Remember when, in the olden days, women had no rights? They then fought for those rights. And, with the fight came victory! I would have to say, really, men try less. Men are more often chosen for jobs, even when the woman who applied was over-qualified. So, the answer to your question is no.

Them's fightin' words!! I will agree that where physical strength is concerned less is expected of women. As far as being able to "fall back on a man",I have lived in Alaska for the past 2yrs.,a place known for its shortage of women and have yet to find a man to fall back on!

YOU'RE BOSS IS WRONG!.!.!.
A woman has to work twice as hard as a man physically and mentally. That or she is seriously demented.
The chemical makeup of a female(oestrogen) renders the women's mind a powerful object to reckon with. And if you are a woman you know damn well that your mind is like a Border Collie in the canine world. It has to keep busy or it goes wonkers.
How do you keep a mind busy? YOU WORK! An intelligent woman will naturally work twice as hard then a hunter or a warrior.
That is all we men are;...." hunters, & warriors".
This does not detract from our intelligence nor our own work load. It is a different mindset than that of a woman.
The superiority of a woman's mind does not make her better than men. Do not misunderstand that. It means that they have a more wider spectrum of responsiblities then men. For that, you need a different mindset. A woman's mind. That my friend is one hell of a lot of WORK!
You're boss is so far out in left field you can darn near call him a mysoginyst!
