A good site for posting family stuff?

I'd like to have a site where I can post pics and updates just for family and friends that is free. I'd rather they just link to it rather than having to join and become a 'friend' on the site like a blog. I do not want it open to the public. Any suggestions?

There is a website called My Family.com. It is great, but it does cost to have one. Also Yahoo has where you can put pictures and it doesn't have to be for the public.
