period of the function y = 4 + 5sin(4t+3)

I already know the answer is Pie/2 but how do i find this answer?

Where B represents the coeeficient of the T variable, the period is defined as 2Pi/ B which here is 2Pi/ 4 or Pi/2

The period or wavelength is given by 2*pi/4 = pi/2.
The 4 is the number multiplying t. If the number multiplying t were 1 then the period would be 2pi

If the number mutiplying t were 10, then the period would be 2pi/10 = pi/5

If the number multiplying t were 1/4 then the period would be 2pi/(1/4) = 8pi.

The period of a trig function y=sin(ax) is 2pi/a......therfore the period in your case is 2pi/4=pi/2.
